Lions Club of Espanola Investing in Community

With just 24 members, the Lions Club of Espanola has been very busy the first part of this year; ensuring an investment of over $43,000 has been returned to the community to support local projects.  Some of the benefactors include;  Espanola Minor Hockey, Send a Kid to Camp, Community Living, Hospice, Cancer Research and Victims Services, Food Bank and the list goes on.  Espanola is a great example of community and volunteer engagement!

 

A Floral Celebration of Lions’ 100th in Sudbury

Something special in Sudbury to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Lionism. This flower bed was designed at the corner of Paris and Louis Street this summer. I came across it just by chance and wanted to share with members in the A5 district. It has since been removed. – Lion Brenda M.

Azlida Lions Club Safe Halloween

On October 31,2017 beginning at 6.00 P.M. the Azilda Lions Club is hosting a Safe Halloween at the LeClaire Centre Azilda. There will be tables set up for different organization for distributing candy to 650 trick or treating children.
