At the Winter Carnival, the Espanola Lions held several events. The Lions put together an amazing float called “Rockin Around the Christmas Oval”, for the parade part of the Carnival. Not only are we proud of this, but the Carnival committee thought so too and the Espanola Lions won the “Best Community Spirit Award” for their float. Congratulations.
In addition, the Lions club provided a free lunch of hot dogs and juice for anyone attending the carnival. The children got a special treat by having their own bingo provided by the Lions.
Leo made a special appearance to the delight of all of the little ones. Just another way that the Espanola Lions works and plays in their community.
