Ferris Lions Club is celebrating 70 years of serving the community. It’s even more important now than ever that the public see us active and engaged. With this in mind, Ferris Lions hosted a Family Day event at Lee Park this year supplying free hot chocolate and a marshmallow roasting station. It was a cold and windy day but the skaters and kids tobogganing that braved the cold for family day. Many people were curious and came over to chat with us and warm up for a few moments. Kids and parents alike were grateful for the hot cocoa and the warmth of the marshmallow roasting station. It was a great opportunity to perform a service, meet new people and talk about the work we do within our community.
